Announcing project activities for Spring day 2005 – the co-ordinating school Primary School Solkan

Dear students and art teachers, you are invited to participate in our international art project Spring day 2005 with the theme:

You European, me European

Our "ART GALLERY" is an international ESP project that has been running successfully for eight years now. The aim of the project is to collect as many artworks as possible from students all over Europe each school year. We decided also to join the Spring day activities, too.

All submitted schools are asked to participate with no more than 4 artworks. Students up to 16 years old can participate in our project.

The artworks can be:

·         computer graphics or pictures 800/600or 600/800 pixels (CorelDraw, Painter, CW, Paintbrush etc. in .jpeg or .gif format)

·         animated gifs

·         PowerPoint presentations (paintings, pictures, text, voice…)

E-mail artworks as attachments to:
vili@mirk.si up to
30^th March  2005.

Give each artwork a name this way: studentname_surrname_age_country.jpeg.
(example: tom_brown_12_england.jpeg)

You can send artworks also via snail mail to: Osnovna sola Solkan, Solska ul. 25, 5250 Solkan

The commission will choose three best artworks of the gallery and they will be announced publicly and symbolically awarded at the international MIRK conference in Piran in May 2005.

All the submitted artworks will be exhibited in our virtual Gallery and the awarded ones will receive the certificates (teachers too).
